POSITION OVERVIEW:

IWPR seeks a Manager, Advancement & Digital Programs to build a growing fundraising program with strong digital engagement to integrate communication efforts and convert mission-driven supporters into donors as well as engaging and upgrading current donors with a strategic email solicitation plan and social media fundraising plan. Reporting to the Vice President, Advancement & Philanthropic Engagement and working closely with the Digital Director, Communications, the Manager, Advancement & Digital Programs will manage and execute a digital fundraising strategy.

  • The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, goal-oriented, and relationship-driven collaborative leader. They are also familiar with current fundraising practices and digital platforms. They will also have excellent writing and communication skills and a keen eye geared toward online presence and communications from the fundraising lens.

This position is full-time and non-exempt, and based in Washington, DC. 

Support Vision for and Manage Execution of Advancement Digital Programs

  • Build and execute a coordinated calendar of digital email fundraising campaigns with an eye toward rapidly expanding our digital donor base and recurring donor pool with compelling messaging and easy ways to give
  • Ensuring all digital data is captured in our CRM and work cross-departmentally to effectively target and segment and build the IWPR digital community
  • Establish and launch a peer-to-peer fundraising program
  • Works closely with the Communications social media team to create fundraising content and monitor progress
  • Manages digital fundraising firm, platform vendors, and supports VP and Advancement Team

Ideal candidates may also demonstrate the following preferred qualifications:

  • You bring experience working on a fundraising team, preferably in the non-profit sector and/or in a mission-driven organization
  • You are tech savvy and familiar with digital fundraising platforms; experience with RENXT a plus 

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required.  At least 2 years of experience in digital fundraising.

Salary

$65,000 to $72,000 and will be commensurate with experience. IWPR provides competitive salaries and a generous benefits package.
